Last year we were able to raise $3,000 for the American Heart Association by participating in Jump Rope for Heart. This year we hope to raise even more funds to help save lives. The heart celebration event will take place the week of February 25th-March1st and all students in grades k-5 have the opportunity to participate and raise funds. The month of February is also Heart Month. Money raised will help the American Heart Association support children with special hearts and provide funding for cardiovasular and heart disease research. Donation envelopes will be going home in the next couple of weeks. And to make raising donations even easier, an online account can be set up at
